These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of InSisu (the “platform”) at insisu.fi. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

InSisu is a free platform that helps newcomers to Finland with practical guides, essential Finnish phrases, curated events, and a tailored onboarding checklist. It is provided free of charge and in good faith to support your settlement.

Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your password secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You can delete your account and personal data at any time from your Profile settings.

Acceptable use

Please use the platform lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, gain unauthorised access, misuse other people's data, or submit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content through feedback or contact forms.

Accuracy of information

Our guides are for general information only and are kept up to date on a best-effort basis. They do not replace official advice. Always confirm important matters with the authoritative source — for example Migri, Kela, the Tax Administration (Vero), or your municipality — before acting.

Intellectual property

The platform's content and design are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the content on a commercial basis without our permission.

Third-party links

The platform may link to external websites and events run by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those external resources.

Disclaimer and liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, InSisu is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information provided or from interruptions to the service.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the platform from time to time, and we may suspend or discontinue the service or an account that breaches these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
